Anchor cottage

Great location for the cliffs. Private enclosed garden was great for our dogs. Managed to park next to property both nights. Bathrooms, linen etc v clean. Comfy bed. Cleaning products available. Hot, powerful shower.

Had to call owner for access instructions on arrival as they were not sent. Floors weren't very clean. Dirty saucepan in cupboard. Hand soap would have been appreciated.

Great place ideally situated in the charming village of Flamborough local to all amenities the cottage is like a tardis wish we were staying longer highly recommended

The location

Unfortunately, the heating thermostat was turned down to 10 degrees, so the property was very cold. It took a good few hours to warm through on a very cold weekend.

An information pack would have been helpful Perhaps more crockery/cutlery (e.g. a bread knife would have been handy)

Having to unblock the toilet upstairs nobody turned up to do it

Good to have downstairs toilet and shower. Clean, tidy and fairly spacious

Shame the toilet in the upstairs bedroom wasn’t working
