Two Fantails - Mountain Views

Good location. Host was responsive when I sent a message to ask where were the coffee and tea kept in the kitchen.

Super expensive and very poor value for our hard earned money. Paid NZD600 for 1 night stay and it was the worst accommodation in NZ. We’ve stayed at another place in Lake Tekapo in 2023 and it was nicer, cleaner, bigger and CHEAPER! Maintenance issues with this property such as broken wheel on portable heater, loose bathroom door handle, 2 pot lids but only 1 big pot and a coffee plunger but no glass to accompany the plunger. Not sure why host can’t be bothered to fix or rectify all these small issues considering how much they are charging their guests.

Nice size apartment, comfortable stay.

Modern, new, expresso coffee machine, spacious master bedroom. Clean premises, books and magazines left by others for reading pleasure.

Was our own place with kitchen and living/dining. Had car space at front door.

Trying to find place to book in for key. It was at someone's house.

The house, the cleanliness and the staff. Amazing.

The internet was hard to connect for some reason, and the beds could be replaced by higher quality bed. I didnt like the springing bed.

Location good, but the best views were obstructed by the unit in front.

No toilet paper on arrival, I had to ask for it. Other than that no problems.

Beautiful apartment, very comfortable with everything you need including washing machine and dryer , which was very handy. Views out to the mountains and , when it got dark, we could see millions of stars just outside the door.

Unnecessarily difficult to check-in necessitating an awkward visit to a house up the road to pay in person. Then an overly complicated keyless entry

The endless lists of rules on the walls didn’t make it feel very welcoming. The bunk beds were very noisy when our son was in the top bed.
