This was the last time we would visit Paternoster. It used to be a quiet place where we can find your soul, now we visited a place without any privacy. Not our scene. We left without staying over.

We received an e-mail well in advance with instructions. Peter was super friendly and helpful and showed us the way. Thank you Peter!!

The small bedroom has no place to put away or hang your clothes and no fan. It was very hot on Friday night, thank goodness we could open the window and listen to the ocean.

Most will mention location, I'll mention the comfort. Gorgeous linen, comfy beds, space for a family to chill. A warm welcome from Peter, a quick hop to the beach, a sundowner on the patio, a dining table to gather the family or deck to watch the sunrise. It's all there. Hot showers, adequate kitchen, sea whispers and a quick walk to anything to appease the foodie, beach-ambler, wine-o, hotel-pantie-bar-people, collecters (my daughter - buy one thing everywhere), sunrise seeker, sunset picnicker, beach walker, ocean swimmer, dolphin watcher, whatever you are wanting - Die Pomphuisie can accommodate. I love sitting on the couch on the patio - relaxing, reading and soaking up the 'time-out' air.  Perfect for a weekend getaway. Quaint cottage furniture, a step back into a timeless reality. I really liked the warm welcome I received and the view from the main bedroom is superb. The rooms are comfortable and clean as are the bathrooms. The beach is just across the road and a restaurant with tasty seafood treats. It's more than big enough for a large family we found and we are definitely booking a holiday in December here.

The house has been grossly misrepresented on bookings.com. Issue upon issue from bedrooms to lounge to loft. Kitchen complete disaster - broken appliances, blinds and by far not enough crockery and cutlery. No packing space for groceries at all. Small and leaking fridge. Electric stove with one plate faulty. No wifi.Peter the housekeeper tried his best with the little he has been given to work with. This is an absolute gem that has sadly been severely neglected by the owner. We made the most of it for 2 weeks. Much overpriced - think twice before booking. The interior offers no value for money whatsoever.
