Seaside Retreat

Great location

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious, good facilities, plenty of information given, great communication from hosts. Good WiFi coverage.

Would have preferred black out curtains in bedrooms and more window dressings for privacy. Only one mirror in the property.

Gorgeous cottage, love the feel of it. Very comfortable. Loved all of the DVD selection!, watched a few! We visited in November for the bonfire so it was wet and windy! Was nice to watch a few good films in the evening! Beds were comfy, great to have a separate toilet to the bathroom too!

Only allowed 5 adults but there’s two single beds upstairs. Wanted to bring my little sister along but host said no as couldn’t accommodate her. ( even tho there’s an extra bed ) my 30 year old sister slept in one so my 17 year old sister definitely could have ! I know it’s listed as 5bed but was just a bit of a let down knowing she could have come.

Relaxing environment, well equiped

Unadopted road to the propert.y very rough and wet which made everyones shoes dirty. Parking a little challenging

Location was great, cottage was very comfortable including beds, a powerful hot shower and good heating in each room. Beutiful nature reserve nearby with lovely shop and cafe.

There were no mirrors in the 3 bedrooms, not ideal when everyone is getting ready for a party! We couldnt find any instructions for TV/Cooker.

Beautiful rooms, great location, well stocked kitchen.

A little hard to find, so look for "The Bungalow".

The location.. Ideal for access to the nature reserve and Rye Harbour.. Also very quiet, peaceful and tranquil.

Windows at the front of the house felt rather exposing.. all of them would really benefit from blinds.

Lovely place to stay had milk and bubbly and other bits when we arrived. Had all we needed and very clean. Beds comfy and has good shower. William the Conqueror pub around corner dies good food and friendly staff.
