Drougas' Windmill

The location was wonderful. Views from every direction. Very comfortable & spotlessly clean. Maria was very welcoming & communicated well prior & during our stay. Some delicious snacks & small essentials on arrival. Daily service was appreciated & the towels were soft & smelt beautiful. Tripiti is also a gorgeous village & walking distance to Plaka. Thank you Maria & staff☺️

Leaving: wish we could have stayed longer

The windmill was quaint and charming. It was well remodeled and decorated. The property looked better in person than in the pictures! The host met us and left pastries, wine, watermelon, water and other things for us in the kitchen. We could not have asked for a better stay.

Everything. Awesome host, location, views. Staying in a windmill is so unique and really cool. Super stylish and comfortable. The out building with kitchen, dining and main bathroom is beautiful too. Loads of outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the sunset and views. Central location - we are big walkers and walked everywhere - Plaka, Adamos, the amazing beaches. Daily housekeeping and Maria's generous provisions and home baked goodies. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

A little far from supermarket, when on foot. Carrying water up the hill was hard work. But most people would hire a car.

The windmill is traditional, but with all the modern touches to give you a comfortable stay. The 360 degree views over Milos are amazing, and you feel a world away in you own private oasis. Maria keeps the place well stocked with everything you need, and even has some homemade treats waiting for you when you arrive. After a day of exploring, we couldn’t wait to get back to our windmill, which can be seen from many locations on the island.
