Kingfisher caravan park Skegness

Really nice caravan clean and comfy beds and comfy sofa. lovely and warm too.

This caravan is adorable. The lounge/kitchen area is really spacious so all of us who were renting could sit down and be comfortable. The bedrooms are very thin, but it is a caravan so this is expected and perfectly normal. The beds are comfortable and warm duvets, and their own windows and curtains. The heating works within a half hour, and there is also an electric fire under the TV which heats the room very quickly, it also has a blue flame option which was our favourite. There is a surplus of board games and table top games for families and friends to use. The owner is friendly and responsive, was able to answer any questions I had at all times of the day. It's a little tricky to spot, head for the cedars. But it's very close to a parking bay, almost directly behind one. The name/number of the caravan is on the plaque. This stay was the perfect start of a weekend together with friends from Friday, and I highly recommend booking here. Our favourite piece of the visit was a notebook that former guests had written during their stays. One entry in particular remains a cult classic between us, months later.

The property was lovely and situated in a lovely place.

The only thing I would complain about was the smell of the bedding and the shower as it was either scolding or freezing.

The bedrooms rooms are very small

The prices of the activities and food in the Boathouse pub. Park Dean only seem to want to deal with guests who have booked with them for activities etc.

Good location

Bedrooms and bathrooms smaller than expected.

Location is very good with view of Cedar Lake and lots of geese and ducks. Caravan is comfortable and is fully sticked with kitchen ware, games and a selection of DVDs.

Cleanliness is okay but is in need of a deep clean. Shower runs cold or scalding hot, no inbetween (temperature control likely needs new washers). Communication could be better. Only received message on the day with a list of rules and access code. Confirmation a few days before hand would have been nice for peace of mind. Sofa bed fairly uncomfortable (but this more about the design of those beds and not a comment on the Caravan itself).
