Bob's House quiet retreat with large shared garden

The house is In memory of the deceased predecessor, Bob.

The house has been enthusiasticly renovated by the diy owners and shows in the finishing. There is a feel of overcrowding with furniture and dated accessories. The 3rd bedoom can only be accessed through the house bathoom, which caused one of us to sleep on the sofa rather than having an embarrassing moment!. The painted garden wall, unfortunately, makes the house look a little tacky .imo

Location was good for where we were working. Literally only used it for sleep. Comfortable beds.

Seemed like it would benefit from some TLC, lots of weeds etc around the entrance and driveway. Lots of mixed furniture with covers on everything. The place was clean and tidy, some area still need the painting finished in the kitchen, strange writing on downstairs switches. Weren’t expecting the Ritz, reasonably priced for what it is. Didn’t appreciate some of the wording in the very strict rule book, especially around checking out. Basically, make sure you are out for 10am or we’ll let ourselves in and supervise you leaving.

The owner Joanna is very courteous and helpful in all aspects. The property is well managed and stuffed with all necessary items required for the comfortable stay. It was really very good experience staying at Bob’s house.
