A house in an excellent location with a short walk to the lakeside and the township.

This is a property in a superb location that has been somewhat let down by minimal maintenance. 1). The bathroom slide door was sticking on its rails and sometimes jammed. 2) On arrival we found that the kitchen bench was sticky and it took a good application of cleaner to remove the stickiness. Cleaning had not properly addressed this problem. 3) The kitchen windowsill was dusty and hadn't been properly cleaned. 4) The second bedroom with two single beds had mattresses that were fair but not very firm with their support. When we looked closely at one of them we found large stains all over it which we took a photograph of. A standard hotel inspection would be likely to fail this mattress on health grounds.

Fantastic location. View straight out onto the lake. Also a direct view of the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd. Stunning. Short walk to the shops and bars etc.

Amazing views and unbeatable location on the lake. Interior gave a feel of cosy cabin and well stocked to cook with spices and coffee press etc available

Situated by the lake a lot of bugs which can’t be helped. Screens on windows or screen doors would be of benefit as unable to open windows to air out property in case bugs came in. Only stayed a night so not an issue but only provided one toilet roll for 4 people which given the price and if staying longer should be provided more.

Great location and comfortable accommodation.

I was always afraid of running out of hot water because of the signs warning about it, everywhere! We never did, but showers were very abrupt. Also, tourists tend to walk right by the house on a quest to get the picture from the front porch.
