I booked this property a month in advance and was required to pay well before the free cancellation window had even expired. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find that no towels were provided. This crucial detail was never mentioned anywhere on the listing. Only after contacting the owner were we informed that “towels are only for international guests.” This is both unacceptable and discriminatory. If the property caters exclusively to international travelers, that should be made explicitly clear upfront. As a South African guest, I found this treatment incredibly unwelcoming and unprofessional. The day before arrival, the owner sent a lengthy WhatsApp message with property rules, check-in info, and other details – and only in that message did it mention the lack of towels. At that point, it was far too late to change plans. If this had been made clear at the booking stage, I would never have chosen this place. When I raised these concerns with the owner, they were met with indifference. Only after pressing the issue did she agree to drop towels off the following day – a completely avoidable inconvenience. The state of the property was equally disappointing: Cockroaches in the kitchen. A noisy, inefficient air conditioner. A front door that only closes if slammed. Hot water issues due to an unreliable gas geyser. The listing photos are incredibly misleading. Clever lighting, angles, and filters give the impression of a much more polished and appealing space. The reality was a far cry from what was advertised. Additionally, guests are expected to clean up after themselves – including doing dishes and disposing of rubbish at the gate upon leaving Marloth Park – effectively preparing the place for the next visitors. For the high price paid, this level of self-servicing is unreasonable.

Great place to relax with family, secure, clean and the location so great, outside space even better with the private pool and BBQ area

The location was perfect. It was excellent value for money especially for overseas visitors. The name Peace@Kruger adequately describes the accommodation. It is tranquil and serene, even the various animals that visit do it so quietly that unless you are looking in the right direction you could miss seeing them. The rustic elevated eating covered platform is a lovely spot for evening drinks and for playing cards and board games. All in all a nice place to spend your holiday.

Nothing really except I don't think I will miss driving on the bumpy gravel road that leads to the accommodation, but it's worth it.

We love how private it is. The outside area is the best.

We loved the place. I planned it for my wife to relax after a very stressful month and I'm happy to say that she loved loved the place! We'll definitely come back some other time but I'd definitely recommend.
