Biking in the Borders

Very comfortable & warm with a relaxed feeling to it. Convenient location very close to the mountain bike trails. Good sized rooms.

The only tiny inconvenience was the oven struggled to get up to any cooking temperature, particularly the r/h side oven.

Great location, lots of local walks and a 10 minute walk to the local shops and pub. The property is really spacious and the bedrooms are huge. Would definitely stay again in the winter months. Overall a really homely property.

The small garden area could be doing with a revamp, It didn't affect our stay with it being winter as we couldn't sit outside anyway and unfortunately we couldn't let the dogs out as there was broken glass (notified the owners of this) and with it being large conifer trees and no fence the dogs would have ran straight out onto the road if they got the chance.

Fire place was gorgeous and the main living space was lovely for a cosy time with the family.

Perhaps could have done with a second bathroom when sharing with 6 but it was a nice property and the oven was great!

Such a lovely cosy spacious property- the living area was particularly comforting. Big comfy bedrooms and a super location.

Clean, well equipped and really comfortable.

It was really modern and comfortable. We loved the wood burner in the lounge, it made it so warm and cosy. Sofas were comfortable.Kitchen was well stocked with all you need. The bedrooms were all a good size and the bathroom was great with a fantastic shower. Ideal for cleaning up after some muddy riding! The storage for the bikes in the yard area was brilliant. Very spacious and safe. The location was perfect for us as my husband could ride to excellent biking locations and we also spent a lot of time over at Glentress bike park. Lots of other places to visit nearby. Lots of food options in the town itself if you don't fancy cooking. It was a great place for us to spend time with the in laws and also get out and do some biking. Also it was ideal for the dogs and there are so many lovely walks from the accommodation. The communication with the owners was excellent.

Smoke alarms were very sensitive

Such a comfortable, well equipped home from home! We loved it! The hosts have thought of everything, there wasn’t anything forgotten. Wished we’d stayed longer.

Being a larger group, another toilet but then that would’ve been a bonus!
