Biking in the Borders

Quiet but still in town and riding distance to all the local mountain biking. A comfortable place to relax and Innerleithen has some great places to eat for such a small town.

One minor problem with central heating solved very quickly with the owners.

A great home from home. Felt really confortable throughout our stay. Lots of facilities in the town and highly recommend the local Indian curry house/takaway. (Saffron House or similar name) Great location for site seeing and getting into Edinburgh. !

The house was lovely.and bigger than expected. Beds really comfortable. Good sized open plan kitchen, diner and living room. Very social space with all the amenities you could need.

This isn't a dislike at all but I didn't realise that there was an external staircase outside to access the property. Just in case anyone is taking people with mobility issues.

Really lovely accommodation that was well equipped and met our needs.

Didn't realise that we were staying in a maisonette, to gain entry you have to go around the back and up some stairs to get in. Not the best if you have accessibility issues.

Homely clean and thoughtful, our kids loved the games in the cupboard. The home was very welcoming and the location was perfect. Lots of information for us too. The beds we're comfier than our own and the shower was great. Such a Lovely place lovely accommodation. Clean Warm Comfy Shops at easy walking distance. Pet friendly places Lovely views Great location

When we first arrived we'd not realised the accommodation was above another family... so as a big family, with four excited children... we made too much noise and upset the neighbour, he knocked within an hour of us arriving, we felt a little on egg shells afterwards.. We we're quite loud initially to be fair to him but if we had the chance to settle down a little as we had travelled all the way from south yorkshire in England. Not a reflection on the hosts or accommodation but bare in mind if you're a big family with noisy kiddies. :)

Excellent location. Few minutes walk from the main street. Accommodation was much more spacious than expected. All three bedrooms were large, bright and airy. Sitting, eating and cooking open plan space was large, well equipped and very pleasantly furnished too.

Outdoor seating area could be better but expect that like us most guests are in the area either walking or cycling so have little time to sit out.

Very clean and cosy, great location for walking into town and for mountain biking at Glentress and Innerleithen. Very secure bike storage which could accommodate 6 bikes. Easy parking on the quiet road directly outside the property.

Clean and in good condition, absolutely surprised by the size of the property. ‘I went in the front door and said to my son I expect this is the toilet…opened the door to find the a huge kitchen lounge and dining area, wow! Bedrooms were fantastic sizes and bathroom was very good too
