Stamford Redcot Gardens Stylish 2 bed Family town house with parking

Great location for town. Clean and tidy property

Creaky floorboards upstairs and it would have been lovely to have some Prosecco glasses in the cupboard!

Came for a short break in Stamford timed to coincide with the Farmers market on Friday. House was easy to find and the road was very quiet due to being a cul-de-sac. Off-road parking was a useful bonus. The house was pretty much what we expected, with a small back garden. The major advantage of the property is its proximity to town, just 10 mins walk to the High St. Market was as good as expected and the sunny weather meant that we could to do a walk across to Burghley House. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in town.

Check out was incorrectly stated as 10-11am, whereas it should say 10am. No problem for us as we were going to leave at 10. Amusingly the reminder about the check out time on Saturday arrived in our e-mail on Sunday morning. Could have done with a small bottle of milk for the morning esp. as check in time is so late.

It was clean, tidy and beautifully prepared for our arrival. Superb.

We didn't find the beds particularly comfortable. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable. The upstairs floorboards were ridiculously squeaky and noisy The back garden really needed a bit of attendance.

Good location. Well decorated and comfortable. Good facilities in the kitchen too. Shower was nice and powerful

Very squeaky floorboards upstairs from twin room to bathroom which disturb sleeper in single room. Curtains in twin room could do with blackout linings as material very thin

The property is a great location close to the town and has pretty much everything needed for your stay. The host communication was excellent and all questions were answered promptly and fully which made it very easy. it was perfect for our visit and we will be back when back in Stamford
