Casa dos Anjos

Wir wurden herlzlich begrüßt und mit frischen Bananen und Mangos versorgt. Die Lage mitten in der Bananenplantage war unglaublich.

Nice and quiet location, very near to the beach and a swim. Easy to get to and quick access to the main road(s) as well.

Insect screens for windows and doors would have been a great.

If you like a quiet and natural environment, this is the right place. The area is very peaceful, with a truly authentic atmosphere. There are many waterfalls nearby, and in the evenings or early mornings you can really enjoy the sounds of nature, especially the birds. One day we even had a barbecue, which was lovely. The host was very kind, and the private parking space is definitely a big advantage. We enjoyed the most on the balcony, from where there is a beautiful view of the hills, waterfalls, and banana fields.

We think the host should have mentioned that the workers in the banana fields sometimes move around very close to the house. However, the workers were very kind and even gave us bananas. The he bedroom could have a larger and more comfortable bed, especially better pillows, as the ones provided were very high and hard for us. When entering the house, there was a unpleasant smell on the ground floor where the living room and kitchen are located. The sofa in the living room looked very dirty and untidy, so we completely avoided that area.

Mooie plek aan de zuidkant van Madeira. Eigen parkeerplek was heel prettig Het huis was eenvoudig, maar wel compleet. Badkamer was prima, met een fijne douche. Ligstoelen aanwezig. Twee balkons was ook prettig in verband met schaduw. Ook fijn dat er een wasmachine aanwezig was.

Het uitzicht op de zee werd helaas belemmerd door de bananenplanten. Het bed en de kussens waren erg hard. We kregen de stenen barbeque niet aan doordat er geen ventilatiemogelijkheden waren.

Beautiful location with stunning sunset views. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The house was well equipped.

Unfortunately, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the lack of air conditioning was noticeable – the fans didn’t help much.
