It was comfortable with good quality mattresses and worked well even with 7 of us staying. Our host was very helpful answering several questions in advance. Also very kind in leaving extras such as milk, cereals, orange juice - thank you

A home-from-home feel. We all felt so comfortable there, peaceful enclosed neighbourhood that is minutes away from a Tesco regular store as well as an express the other end of the village. Fabulous kitchen with everything you could need there, very comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms, modern lounge and dining room, lovely quiet conservatory.

A comfortable house, with everything we needed. Liked the personalised note, milk, drinks,, small boxes of cereal, and other snacks. Hosts responded quickly to messages and accommodated slightly earlier arrival and later leaving times. When we were concerned we may run out of toilet paper, they brought a new pack over. Nice selection of books and toys for our grandson. Also left some tourist leaflets

Very common in hotels is not great lighting in bedrooms - never understood why lighting in bathrooms is better

The property was laid out nicely beds had towels on and were made really nice. The hosts left some breakfast bits and some cookies etc which was much appreciated. We liked how homely and cosy it was and that made it easier for the kids to sleep.

We went to use the highchair but unfortunately one of the arms was broken so we didn’t end up using it.

Spacious, comfortable, clean and modern. Great communication from the hosts. This was a brilliant base for a weekend at Alton Towers.
