Lovely old building, thoughtfully renovated. Generous sized rooms.

Location on such a busy road, weekends were ok but weekdays are very noisy with heavy trucks passing from 4.30am continuously that make the house and bed shake. This is located in the corner of mitre tens carpark, fine in the weekend but weekdays woke to find cars parked in the parks allocated for this property

Thank you to the team for amazing service. We were missing a kettle and the team quickly purchased one for us! Lovely space that we used more than expected due to the temperamental weather. Comfy living room and well equipped kitchen!

Not a major thing but if the windows are open you can hear road side traffic which only matters if you're a light sleeper.

It was welcoming from the moment we stepped inside. Lovely character and features throughout and very well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen area spacious. Loved the instant boiling and chilled water. Good parking.

Very noisy road with many trucks going past constantly. Also have to walk through one bedroom to get to another bedroom.

"The Front Office, New Plymouth"

The accommodation features were to a high standard. Large modern kitchen. Lovely leather lounge chairs. Huge table. 2 bathrooms. It was very spacious. Big plus was having grab rails in one of the bathrooms for my elderly father. Although very close to a main road, the surrounding lattice, plants, and vines ensured complete privacy.

Unfortunately the road is the main road to the port and heavy logging trucks regularly passing by ... at all times of day and night. So be aware that there is a reasonable amount of traffic noise. However I think the positive features of the property outweigh this negative for me. Unusual location of the property being at the edge of a carpark. But understandable once you know the history of the property.

Warm and very comfortable. Loved the kitchen, big island bench, big table, and furnishings.

A fair bit of traffic noise.
