Shebamona No loadshedding

Marie and Johan are exceptional hosts. The attention to detail shown is something I haven’t experienced before…from the welcome tray to the keyrings. Other details coming to mind: the supply of drinking water and ice, supply of charcoal and wood on the first day, the thoughtfulness of getting the braai area ready even before we arrived. The house itself is extremely comfortable, with all luxuries and necessities included. Thembi is a great cleaner with an even greater personality. Shebamona will definitely see us again when we return to South Africa for holiday again.

The host Marie really went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Very hospitable & accommodating.

If I could give a 100 stars I would. This place is exceptional. Firstly, the place is huge. There is so much space for everyone to do their own thing. The outdoor area is beautiful and so well kept. The beds are so comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. There is not a thing that was missing. Marie has literally thought of everything and more to make her guests have a wonderful stay. Marie has a very kind heart and really goes the extra mile for her guests. We loved every minute of our stay and we will absolutely be back again!!

House was very clean, good location, Marie also spoiled us with lots of cookies, cheese, sweets, also made a very nice potato salad for us to enjoy with the sosaties she bought for us, we were 2 couples on motorcycles and she organised everything we needed for the weekend. The room upstairs is beautiful with deck and comfortable chairs and also a gas braai if you don't want to use the braai oudside. Of all the places I've stayed in previously at Marloth, this one is best. Definitely will visit again.

Wonderful villa in a central and quiet location in Marloth Park. Wonderful host, who surprised us with a huge welcome basket. Perfect place to relax and watch wildlife, but just 15 minutes drive to Kruger park.

Nothing, the place was beyond our expectations!

The house is absolutely stunning, very clean and neat, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need, the house has 3 fridges, which was very helpful for our Christmas drinks, we also thoroughly enjoyed the bar area with a perfect selection of glasses for all drinks , Marie had ice for us, clean drinking cold water, welcoming snacks and Christmas ginger cookies 😍, the deck is perfect, bucks and zebras stopped by and we fed them. That was so exciting for the whole family. The upstairs balcony was perfect for our Christmas lunch, with the most serene view. My family enjoyed the pool, I love that it's not too deep so the kids can enjoy it safely. Marie put out charcoal and firelighters in The braai area for us, and there's a gas braai in the upstairs balcony, the bath salts and foam bath was my saving grace, I took a long nice hot relaxing bath after standing in the kitchen for hours cooking Christmas lunch (thanks Marie) . The iron and ironing board came in handy. There is aircon for those hot nights. Marie was the perfect host, she was readily available to assist with whatever we needed, and even checked on us after we left to ensure we got home safely, what a sweetheart ❤️Shebamona was the perfect Christmas home for us 👌❤️❤️

Everything was absolutely perfect, my only regret is not booking more nights 😕

The house comes fully equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Attention was given to small things. Marie, our exceptional host, ensured that every need was considered. The quick drive to Kruger National Park allowed us to fully enjoy the park, and the house is conveniently located near the river, perfect for an afternoon stroll.
