The house has restored much of the old stone, it’s beautifully decorated, well furnished and clean. The village is a beautiful rural escape and we loved getting fresh bread with the locals every morning and being able to get everything we needed just outside our door. Access to the variety of trails was wonderful and the house always felt like a comforting refuge after full days of activity.

With the humidity in the area, which I understand is normal, it would have been great to have a clothesline in the back or have a dryer on the property. The bedding also felt a bit damp. The coffee percolator is a bit flimsy. Weather wasn’t conducive to using the pool or garden much - it was very inviting but wished we could have made more use of the amenities.

The house is very cosy, especially the fireplace space. It's perfect for a couple, but it would also be nice for a family. The house was heated for our arrival, which was pleasant in January. There's enough heating for the winter months, and wood for the fireplace included. Equipped kitchen, nice medium king bed in the main dormitory. Big private parking space, enough for a couple of cars. We had a great time hiking around the lakes. Thank you, Ana!

Nothing important. The floorboards on the second floor creak - it might wake up other people during the night. The cows are quite loud in the morning, and the church is ringing. The earplugs can solve these issues.

The space is amazing. Sadly, we went, perhaps the wrong time of year and it was very wet, damp, humid and foggy, so the garden wasn’t an option to sit and read but that’s no fault of the property! The garden is lovely and the pool is a fantastic extra. The washing machine (and drier-as nothing seems to dry on the island!) is definitely appreciated! The bedrooms are spacious and the bed in the main room is comfortable and we had a great sleep in it! We did have a few flies in the property, but again, I think this is down to the time of year. The AC worked well. As I’ve read previously, comments about the damp, yes, there was a slight musty smell and the dehumidifier needed to be emptied up to 3 times a day but the house is well-stocked and the shower was hot and plentiful. The host was responsive and even came to change a lightbulb in the bathroom that we couldn’t reach.

The humidity……but that’s more to do with the weather and time of year and didn’t like the flies

Il s’agit d’une charmante maison décorée avec goût avec une superbe cour arrière fleurie. Nous avons pris certains de nos repas du midi et du soir dans la cour avec enchantement. La maison est idéalement située au cour de Sete Citades et de sa région.
