Cameron House - spacious B listed building, near Falkland, Central East Scotland

Lovely location. Everything was great.

Only 3 parking spaces, that wasn't a big issue as parking nearby it just to highlight if large groups going.

Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, great facilities, very clean, smart TV to watch programs, towels provided which is fantastic! Beautiful house with gorgeous bathroom. Free parking which is ideal! Plenty of storage for food!

Hob on cooker kept turning off for some reason, would like to be given better check in/out times as for 3 days/2 nights the whole stay was only 41 hours.

The rooms were spacious. The price was right. The distance from home was good

The place was very dated. Showers were terrible. Kitchen equipment including the cooker need replaced. The door sticks in the downstairs bathroom, leaving you locked in! Bedding is old.

We love the quirky lay out of this house and its a perfect size for the 13 of us that stayed. This is the 2nd time we have stayed and I'm sure we will be back.

Very spacious, enough space for all family members to move around. Adequate bathrooms and nicely decorated.

Some areas very tired, very cold and unsure how to work heating as it seemed to be on timed. Bottom bathroom and 2 of the bedrooms in particular were freezing. Several objects left from previous occupants and we felt the property was quite dirty. The driveway extremely muddy meaning the cars were filthy and bins full upon arrival leaving no space for our rubbish. We didn't feel the property was worth the money as several attention to details were missing (for example; backing of remote missing so the batteries continually fell out, the top room had 3 lamps - 2 with no bulbs and 1 with only 1 bulb working to name but a few) which over the few days we were there did impact on the enjoyment of our stay.

Size of rooms

Parking instruction wasn’t clear on space to leave clear. Think we left space we didn’t need to clear. The taps on building we rented weren’t the space we needed to leave empty. I think it was 26a space which also had a tap and they were parked in.

The renovated rooms were beautiful. Very spacious and quirky

Lots of cobwebs. Garden didn't look like it had been maintained all year.
