"Clean home, no privacy (only two doors inside home, one bedroom and the only bathroom), CREEPY host"

Exceptionally clean. Very high end appliances in kitchen (all clad pans, for instance)

The host set a terrible tone for our stay. He gloated about how successful he was to the point of nausea. Him bragging about having the “biggest boat in Big Bear, everybody knows that” or saying that everyone wants to be him was fine. We could laugh that off. Even saying that he had too many girlfriends that he couldn’t go to the grocery store was fine. But when he mentioned that he has two other properties and that he monitors guests on his security cameras—including in his swimming pool at Coachella, we were disgusted and left feeling unsafe. That feeling was further enforced when he entered the property when we were gone to lower the thermostat. This affected how we felt our entire stay.
