I didn't like how the host was calling and texting me every second he made me not enjoy my stay. He was literally complaining about every single thing.

The place was very nice though.

It was very cold and there were no heaters. The blankets did not do any justice

Nature around the unit is beautiful. Unit VERY RUSTIC!

Had an issue with the earth leakage on the first day that had to be attended to, and they quickly sent someone to assist as they knew about the problem. The attitude of the (One) host - calling me rude when asking questions. I enquired about the noise the Friday evening since there was a base in the distance. They quickly checked it out, but I was scolded about reporting noise that was not true and they could not be held responsible for the music from the town. Where a mere message would be great to say the noise was not from the property and therefore out of their control. Saved WhatsApp messages as proof. Not keeping to generator times with electricity outages (as displayed on the fridge in the unit) The messages and notice is contradicting. Also struggled to get in, had to phone to get the code to access the keys from the lock box upon arrival. Then once we entered the alarm went off and I had to phone BACK to find out how it needed to be disarmed. I was in communication with the property regarding the quality of the road before our arrival, since we have a small SMART car and the information given was not factual. It is a few km of gravel road mainly used by SUVs and bakkies. They were also not joking about the bugs and the mosquito net in one of the rooms was torn and not fitted to the ceiling. The back of the sleeper couch was also broken so not very comfortable to sit on.
