"Spacious, charming cottage with great hosts - and a stargazer’s dream!"

We had a great stay at Riverdene Farm Lodge. Very spacious and comfortable cottage, with a fantastic braai area, and the amount of stars at night is just incredible!

Not that close to the main town. The gravel road was quite rough, and it took a considerable amount of time to drive to the cottage at Riverdene Farm. Not ideal if you want to get on your way quickly the next morning.

"Beautiful, serene and perfectly equipped!"

We stopped over at Riverdene for one night and wished we could have stayed for longer! It was peaceful and serene and the hosts were charming and helpful - Copper the Ridgeback included! The cottage was beautifully equipped with a full kitchen, comfortable beds and linen and puzzles that kept the children busy. We walked to the dam at sunset and enjoyed the beautiful Karoo air and hospitality tremendously.

One of the nicest places I've evered stayed. No complaints. Everything was wonderful. The attentention to detail and friendly service was exceptional. The house was clean, comfortable and beautiful, and the views spectacular.
