Dom z przepięknym widokiem, w chłodniejszej, północnej części wyspy. Ponta Delgada jest cicha i można w niej odpocząć od turystów i zgiełku. Jest też świetnym miejscem wyjazdowym do zwiedzania całej wyspy. Dom jest przestronny, ale te 150m2 to z tarasami i balkonami. Kuchnia wyposażona w wiele przydatnych sprzętów AGD. Kościół pod domem wyznacza czas od 8 rano do 8 wieczorem bijąc dzwonami co pół godziny. I cudowny kogut, który zaczyna od 3-4 rano - okna z tylnej sypialni wychodzą na kurnik. Ale do wszystkiego można się przyzwyczaić. Do najbliższego sklepu spożywczego ok 800m, więc można się przejść.

Największym minusem były karaluchy, a że to Madera to były ogromne. Wychodziły po 10:00-11:00 wieczorem w kuchni i łazience. Właściciele chyba znają problem, bo pod zlewem znajdował się spray na nie. Dom delikatnie prosi się o odświeżenie. W górnej łazience jest bardzo słaba wentylacja. Na minusy w kuchni zasługuje bardzo mała ilość kubków, szklanek i sztućców. Niestety trzeba myć ręcznie lub uruchamiać prawie pustą zmywarkę. Wejście do domu jest po bardzo stromym podjeździe. Miejsce parkingowe pod domem wąskie i łatwiej zaparkować na ulicy. Przy check-in zwróćcie uwagę, że po 8 wieczorem, naliczana jest dodatkowa opłata 50 EUR za nocną obsługę, co nas spotkało z powodu opóźnionego lotu.

Awesome open views to the sea, the port, the cliffs across the coast of the island. Spacious two floor apartment with very nice design;bathroom upstairs and toilet with shower downstairs; good wifi; comfortable mattresses; Everything very clean and tidy; nice church with a small but nice village cemetery next to the house that gives a mystic touch to the place. All house is very bright; place is in a quiet place of the village shore; there are groceries and snack bars not further than 3 min. by car. Hosts provided everything needed in the kitchen (Nespresso coffee machine) although we miss kitchen scissors in all our stays in Madeira; also is provided hand soap in baths and toilets. Hosts is managed by a agency which is located far from apartment and can be communicated at any time via Whatsapp. Although the apartment has private parking place, it is in a entrance slope and it's very narrow, however a few meters down the slope there is plenty of free parking. We're quite demanding in our booking reviews, not often we could say that we would repeat if we visit the island again.

For people with light sleep there is a rooster in a nearby house that likes to cock-a-doodle-doo at any time from 3:30 AM; We missed a coat stand in the ground floor. Stairs to second floor are narrow to step down; Microwave needed to be repaired. Sometimes it doesn't stop. Access to the apartment needs to go up a short but pranced slope.

The house was clean and comfortable with a spectacular view. The location was great for exploring the north side of the island, or only a 35 minute drive if you wanted to get back to the south side for a bit more sun.

The house doesn't look its best; it needs a renovation. The furniture is outdated, the walls are quite dirty, and the bathrooms are old-fashioned. I didn't find any bedding for the child's room. I feel like it wasn't worth the money we paid.

Neighboring roosters. Disappointed couldn't find firewood anywhere to use the wood burning stove, the feature that attracted me to the listing as our stay was late December.

The view on the ocean from the apartment is just awesome.

The house is exactly like it is shown in the photos. Mind-blowing view. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. However, I missed some things such as: oven paper, some kitchen paper, scissors and two capsules for the coffee machine. When the arrival is late and you can’t make it to the supermarket, it’d be nice to at least have some coffee on your first morning. The location was great for us. It’s a quiet village but the pool in front of the house is amazing. Beaches in Madeira are not very common or the sea is pretty dangerous so it was perfect to have that possibility literally in front of us. São Vicente is only 10 minutes away and it has a supermarket and very nice restaurants. I personally didn’t mind the cemetery being so close and in the main bedroom you can’t hear the rooster.

I’d also would have prefer to have another system of getting the keys the first days. It was pretty stressful knowing that if the plane was late, we’d have to pay 50€. A box with a code would be better and that way no one would have to pay. The check-out was supposed to be till 12 max and I filled in a questionnaire from them where they knew we’d leave at 12. However, the cleaning ladies opened the door at 11 36 without checking before if the guests were still there. They were nice and they waited outside but still, you feel the pressure of knowing they’re waiting for you. The cleaning fee is way too expensive for Madeira. True, there were two ladies but I doubt they stayed longer that 2 hours cleaning.
