The accommodation was romantic, offering absolute privacy. Very quiet location.

The accommodation assumes cooking, as there is no restaurant or shop nearby, yet the kitchen is poorly equipped and the electricity will be turned off when using two appliances. That was a bit of a problem. 117 / 5 000 We had to call the owner and he had to sort it out. It was evening and that's not nice, bothering someone and staying in the dark.The bathroom is perfectly equipped with towels, but there is no hook to hang them on and no place to put the used towels. Many unnecessary decorations at the expense of useful equipment. The same applies to the kitchen. Many unnecessary things and decorative items, but few equipment for cooking, making tea, baking in the oven, etc.

It is amazing place for somebody who wants to relax and get away from all the buz. For people who like to bond with a nature and have a peace. Who appreciate a peaceful environment. You need your own transportation to get to this property. Property is located in the small village with a really friendly people around you. It is really peaceful place. Owner is super respectful and she's there if you ever need something. You have everything you need in a property to have a simple relaxing time while you stay there. On arrival it is recommended that you already have your groceries with you cause most likely you will want to stay there and relax as it is really nice place. In the property is a really fast fiber optic internet available with approximately 500mb/s download and 450mb/s upload speed on average.. property has a old rustic village type feel mixed with the modern environment. It is very simple and basic but yet very accommodative and cozy. Property is not for the princesses and princes on the White Horse - it is for people who appreciate a nice and cozy village type accommodation in peaceful place. There is all you need to get away from urban environment. 5 minutes drive will take you to petrol station and pharmacy and local store if needed. If you want to do a proper shopping there is Aldi and Lidl approximately 20 minute drive towards the airport if you take the motorway. Android tv and local tv stations available. There is enough space in village for parking. Roads to the property are windy and bendy but they are easily accessible with even a one liter engine so if you are one of the people that likes to ride a clutch- don't complain as it is not a fault of the roads. And again- place is very quiet , clean and have amazing garden which is private with the private pool. If you want a sunbait you can do it in the garden without anybody steering at your goodies. This property is not for party animals.

We didn't like to leave this property.

We loved the accomodation, the rural location it was in (even though close to highway so you could drive to visit the island, 6km), the lovely little square right by the house where you could always find parking space. It was very clean, charming and quiet. In less than 1km walk to Arico Viejo you had a local shop, gas station, restaurant, farmacy, the usual. Wifi works inside the house and in front of the door, and we personally didnt have any phone signal for data. Bed was comfortable. Yard was very cute, we used the bbq too, pool was cold in november, but that was ok because the ocean was a lovely 24 degrees.

We liked it very much. It was cosy for a couple.

Lovely, quirky little studio apartment with private courtyard and small pool. Great location for access to crags. Places to eat within walking distance. All facilities to cook meals at home, including a BBQ. We had charcoal left, but I think it may depend on if the previous occupants left any or not. Not too far a drive from La Poris and Abades for more places to eat out and a quiet beach for a swim. Easy access to motorway and not too far from airport. Host is very friendly and speaks very good English and responds well to messages.

Need to give a cash deposit when arriving at property, which is understandable but leaves you with extra currency at end of trip. Host was ok with us using a mix of euros and our home currency though (GBP), and we just used the euros to fill up hire car at end of trip. Very minor issue, but the door was quite noisy and stiff when opening and closing.

The place was really cozy and relaxing. A perfect place if you want to check out the different climbing areas.
