The location is fantastic. Right in the heart of a lovely village.

Quiet, characterful, comfy beds, cosy fire, living area bigger than expected, and lovely village.

Heating took a while to warm up.

The location is lovely overlooking the village green.

It was damp and cold and took for my husband to access fuse box to put heating on as it was switched off. Needs updating.

The property would benefit from a good clean and could do with updating the bathrooms and kitchen Also it would be better to declutter and make it more simple and easier to clean

We chose the cottage primarily because of its proximity to a family event but the location of the cottage in a charming village proved to be delightful. The cottage had character and was bigger than we anticipated. Ours was a short stay so we weren't able to make full use of the external facilities which include a patio, barbecue and large garden.

The village of Hutton le Hole was idea for my artist sister who could only walk a short distance. The cottage was reasonably comfortable, the space worked well for the three of us and the kitchen and bathrooms were ok. The large garden was excellent.

The first evening one person was a little chilled, we couldn't make the heating respond, but a thick blanket was thoughtfully available. The kitchen cold tap was very stiff.

The cottage was in a great location at the centre of Hutton. It was comfortable and the girls loved the garden and could go and visit the sheep each day, in fields behind cottage. Glyn was friendly and available when needed.

Generally happy. One useful addition would be a coat rack to hang outside costs, could be on the back of the back door. Thursday was wet so would have been useful. More hot water for the bath would be good.
