"A home from home"

The comfortable home from home feeling when we arrived, after a long day of travelling.The little attention to detail, such as the folder with menus,maps and places to visit in the area. Also the flap Jack's 😁

The banging from the upstairs neighbour and the mattress was very soft.

Easy to check in

We stayed here last night and unfortunately didn’t have the best stay. As soon as we checked in and used the bathroom facilities, the sink plug was broken, so all the water leaked off under the cupboard. We had to use 2 of our towels to dry it up. Then whilst settling in for the night we noticed the property wasn’t overly clean, mould by the sink in the kitchen, dirt in the shower, spider webs in multiple places and dust on skirting boards. It seems that the property has more than likely been lived in and then put on here. It really needs a deep clean and some time and care to fix things and decorate to a higher level. Little things like the duvet cover buttons didn’t clip together and towels were tiny, in only 5’2 but could barely cover my body up! I made the owners aware of this but they didn’t seem overly fussed that our stay wasn’t as pleasant as expected. Hopefully the feedback helps improve for other guests. However we won’t be turning and could have found somewhere much nicer and cheaper!
