Nice quiet place with beautiful view. The pool was excellent as it was very hot. Host was very friendly.

"Perfect peace"

We loved the house: so clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We loved the setting high in the Douro hills (though only 20 mins drive from Pinhao) with views to die for, and we especially loved Paula, the friendliest, most hospitable, and most generous of hosts.

Maybe the lack of wifi - but it is available in the cafe.

"Beautiful valley and home."

Beautiful house. Nice views and hikes. Kitchen was well equipped. Wine tour with Wine and Soul was great!

We didn’t have a car so it was a bit isolating. Cab fare was expensive from Pinhau. Rained the entire time!

"Stunning house and views"

Amazing house with a stunning view. Great outdoor entertainment space with pool. Was space to park our car out front. Friendly host.

So many pet and stray dogs around the neighborhood barking constantly, could not sleep in. Neighbour’s dog up the road were particularly ferocious, launching themselves at the fence when we walked past (they could easily have jumped the fence if they wanted to). Wifi was none-existent.

"Glad we had 4 days here!"

Even though we only used one bedroom, they all looked nice. One of them opened to the patio where we enjoyed the view of the surrounding hills, surrounded by vineyards. Paula was an amazing host and we did make arrangements to enjoy her local cuisine at her cafe. Kitchen was well equipped. Took off each day exploring the Douro Valley. (FYI: Port Tastings are only at some vineyards by reservation; best to plan tastings in Pinhão or in Porto.)

Wi-Fi could be challenging at times.
