Amazing location just up the hill from Pinhao (centre of the Duro valley). The place was really well stocked. Even some port for us to enjoy. Only two of the bedrooms had AC. The beds were a little too firm. Loved the amazing patio! Dinner on the outdoor table was fantastic! Felt you were right in the middle of the vineyard-which in fact is true as there are vines growing right into the back of the house! Amazing!

One of the best properties we have stayed in. The house was modern and well equipped, with plenty of space for our group of 6. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for our needs. The view from the house was gorgeous, overlooking vineyards. We were able to enjoy delicious oranges and lemons from trees in the yard - what a treat!. The village was charming and non-touristy. We didn't see any other tourists during our stay. The location is super convenient, just 10 minute's drive from Pinhao. One of the best things of a great stay was the host, Paula. She runs the village cafe and was delightful. We even arranged for her to prepare meal for our group, which was delicious. We only wish we could have stayed longer - 3 nites was not enough.

Soalheira Douro House is in a beautiful location and Paula is a very welcoming host. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of equipment in the kitchen. We loved the orange trees in the garden and the view from the suite principal!

The dining room and the back bedroom are a little dark. We were sorry the swimming pool was not in operation in April but understood that the weather was still changeable so it wasn't possible.
