The Cottage Wai Rua

The location was incredible. It was a beautiful property. The grounds were photo worthy. The breakfast was good. It was simple. They provided eggs, bread, jam, yogurt, and bacon so it was nothing fancy but it was nice And filling I’ll also there was milk and coffee. Elaine and Allen were very nice and welcoming.

The Location and the surrounding area of the cottage is absolutely beautiful and private.

this is the most spectacular property I’ve ever stayed at. not only a fully equipped one bedroom en suite cottage but surrounding it was fabulous landscaping and ponds and exterior to that was isolated farmland with wild birds and ducks. wonderful hosts who provided a wide range of breakfast options. loved it

up about a mile on a gravel road though well maintained. and about five miles from town and cafes.

Stunning location,surrounded by a mixture of farmland and native woodland. Overwhelmed by the number of birds that could be seen from the terrace and through the window. A comfy cottage with all that one could ask for.

Nothing to dislike. A few extra plates in the cupboard and some extra cutlery in the draw would save us having to raid the dishwasher.

The manicured property with natural feature rocks. I enjoyed hearing the native birds it just added to the appeal of the property
