Country Retreat

Location, ease of parking, pet friendly, close to excellent pubs, a station, useful shops, cafes and a post office. Perfect size for a couple and dog.

Limited seating but perfectly adequate.

We had a really nice stay at the property, it was clean, beds were comfy and the property was modern. Neighbours are friendly too! They had dog towels & bowls which was a nice extra. The property was also warm and cozy

If I was being picky, a bigger&comfier L shape sofa would be nice, and a new shower head.

Very clean, modern and functional cottage with everything we needed.

Sofa was very uncomfortable - not very cosy to relax on after a long days walking!

Perfect location from all the activities we wanted to do, and literally felt like a home from home

Decent location for getting around Chinley. Modern feel to the place. Nice view out the back. Has most appliances you'll need. Decent little fire which warms the place quickly.

View out the front - a plastic factory. No designated parking. Small two-seater sofa was very uncomfortable. Small creaky double bed the same. Shower was poor. The boiler couldn't keep up with the demand for hot water. No privacy in garden, people walk through, which makes it difficult if you have dogs. Mould around bath and bathroom window.

Location was perfect

I’m 6ft6 and bed had board top and bottom so did not fit in bed well
