Lobster Cottage Lytham

Great location and great apartment.

Property is in a great location, lovely spacious cottage with a private back yard. Clean and beautiful layout with a good family friendly feel. Clear instructions, good WiFi and tv choice.

Lovely cottage ideally situated. Kitchen had everything you needed. Clean with a real cottage feel. Definitely stop here again.

The Cottage was very central so easy to walk around the whole town centre. Bedrooms and bathroom were very clean on arrival . But noticed that there were mould stains on the duvet cover in the main bedroom. I just moved the duvet around as I was sole occupant of that room but would have been an issue if two of us. It’s probably been folded and stored whilst still damp. Other bedroom for daughter was fine. Kitchen clean except for kitchen bin, which I cleaned. Bedrooms are large and spacious . Felt the living room could have done with another sofa in it. But really did enjoy our stay and the guest book was filled with lovely comments.

The stained duvet cover . Things like that should be spotted by the house keeping teams, plus the dirty bin. But still rated cottage high as not owners fault- you just need the cleaners to be more diligent

Location fab and very cosy.

Only thing would be to check that the kitchen pots,pans etc are clean. Thorough clean of the kitchen drawers and contents.

The location was outstanding. The cottage was comfortably furnished and well equipped. The host could not have done more to make our stay comfortable.

A hairdryer and cafetiere would have been a bonus.

The location was excellent, close to amenities but still quiet at night. the bed was comfy.

The kitchen was dirty and in poor condition and the equipment in the kitchen was past it’s best. The decor, bedding and towels were tired and well worn. The ground floor rooms smelt terribly of damp. We had to have the door open all the time. Contacted coastal cottages who apologised and advised they’d recently had a flood - but they shouldn’t have let it out if all remedial works had not been completed

the cottage was in a great location and very spacious for 4 people

could have done with a spring clean and maybe another comfy sofa so that 4 people can relax rather than 2

The location was ideal and the cottage was lovely.

No mirror downstairs didn’t like feather pillows. Only found the cooker hood fan power switch on the last day could do with a label.
