Very easy - reception was visible and not far off the main road in the estate.

No information was offered of facilities in the estate or in house info, other than reading up in the booklet. Reception offered no extra advise.

The facilities / rooms and spaces looked exactly as the pictures. The beds were really comfortable, and all had electric blankets which was a welcomed surprise! The host phoned to check in with me which I thought was great. They really cater for everything including having ample crockery and cutlery / dishes etc so that you do not need to travel with anything. There was even tea and coffee provided. The unit also had a dishwasher and washing machine which was very convenient when you have so many guests. The lovely housekeeper, Zodwa did an incredible job daily, she was efficient and a lovely person. Overall, the stay was fantastic, and we would definitely return in a heartbeat! Tip: - Make sure you go to the nearby Chocolatier / Drakensburg brewery / market which is just down the road. Lovely shops and great coffee, food and beer are served. There is also a bakery on the same road. - For horsey people, I highly recommend Dragon Peaks horse riding. The horse's welfare is of utmost importance, the horses are well-kept, and our ride (bitless), was so much fun and lead by the wonderful, knowledgeable guide.

The two downstairs rooms have Jack and Jill bathroom / sharing bathroom with sandblasted glass sliding which isn't clear from the pics / description. Although the rooms are wonderful, this does make it a VERY awkward stay if the two occupants of the downstairs rooms are not VERY comfortable to share a bathroom with very little privacy. I wish we knew this before. The fireplace is wonderful but does NOT close properly, and the handle is faulty which is very dangerous for children. It also means excess air gets in and your wood burns away within minutes.

The house was top class and had everything for self catering...the views off the mountain was beautiful..the staff came in n really was excellent..something you would rarely get ..will definitely make it a yearly getaway now.
