Clovelly House Relaxed Family Coastal Home

Location,space, a bathroom for everyone.

No toilet on first floor proved a challenge for our elderly ladies but we overcame. A toilet on ground level would only add to the value of the place.

We had everything that we needed. Central.

We had a few issues with the heating. Which we fixed. Downstairs is still cold, though, upstairs is roasting. They do provide electric heaters for the downstairs as an extra.

Perfect location. There were 5 couples in our party so it was great that we had our own bathrooms. The living room area was a good size to host 10 peppe.

Parking not great, however you have to accept that if you want a centre of town location

Sitting rooom TV was not setup properly and therefore unavailable for us to use. Dining room dimmer switch was seriously faulty and became a pain in the neck for all in the party.

The house was lovely and spacious and tastefully decorated, felt like home from home! Arrived to find a little bottle bubbly and treats which was a lovely surprise too. Garden enclosed so was safe for dogs to have fresh air, and adults were happy to choose from relaxing in front of the log fire outoors or in.

There was nothing I disliked, though garden large enough for hot tub and this would have been worth paying extra for.

The location is excellent. Easy walk from the station, right in the centre of the town, a very short walk to the river and walls. A superb variety of individual restaurants and shops literally within 100 yards and not much further for more. There was plenty of seating for socialising or TV watching, though we didn't use the sitting room at all as we talked and ate in the dining area due to the ample, comfortable seating. Beds were comfortable and 5 bathrooms a great bonus. The welcome snacks, Prosecco and milk were greatly appreciated.

We would all have liked a small towel to supplement the bath towel.

Great property for family, well laid out and had everything we needed.
