Derry City center townhouse

Excellent location

 It was comfortable, well equipped, and accessible to the centre of town.

the noise of the traffic at times disturbing but I guess that comes with being central.

Lovely clean and comfortable townhouse; a very easy walk to the walled city, Peace Bridge and Bogside. Bedrooms catered for all people with one being on the ground floor, one on the first floor and 2 on the 2nd floor. Loved the separate washer and dryer. Anne was very welcoming and the perfect host. Well equipped kitchen with a full sized refrigerator.

There was no off street parking so you had to park on a rather narrow road.....2 wheels mounting the footpath. The first set of stairs were steep (in typical British fashion) but had no hand rail to steady yourself especially when lugging suitcases up the stairs. We had trouble finding the townhouse as Google maps sent us to the wrong address and there was no way of contacting Anne. A phone number would have been good.

Anne met us at her house with the keys and made us very welcome. She showed us how to use the lockbox outside with 2 other sets of keys inside. The house looks small from the outside but was massive inside with 3 floors, a downstairs wet room, spacious kitchen and living room & One twin bedroom on ground floor. A spacious double bedroom on the second floor with a seperate large bathroom& walk in shower. Another big double bedroom on the third floor and smaller bedroom with single bed. There is also a spare single matress if needed. Beds were clean & comfy. We slept like babies! There were plenty of clean towels, toiletries, wardrobes, sockets etc. A hairdryer was also supplied. Kitchen had just been extended, was modern and again had everything that was needed, cooking utensils, crockery, cups, cutlery, ironing board & iron, even a sewing kit and umbrella. There were biscuits, tea, coffee, salt, sugar, sauces, jam, washing liquid, detergent etc & many more things left for us to use. Anne showed us how to use washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, heating etc. There was also a white board with Anne's contact details, WiFi details, emergency numbers etc on display. The location of the house was perfect! Within walking distance to city center, shops etc. We had a lovely 5 days here and honestly have to say it was it felt like Home from Home. We would highly highly recommend it if you're thinking of visiting this beautiful City!

The property was in an excellent location with everything you could possibly want on your doorstep. I have stayed in many properties through Booking.com and this is definitely one of the best. Our host Anne met us when we arrived and and was most welcoming not to mention thoughtful and very generous. She had bought us milk, tea bags etc which did save us money and a trip to the shops. I will say that the photographs do not do this place justice. The house was spacious with excellent facilities and two very well equipped bathrooms. Toiletries were supplied and the beds were so comfortable. I suppose the best way to describe the house is to say home to home. Do not hesitate to book this place - you will definitely not be disappointed.

Kitchen cupboards didn’t work well and hob I had to give up on, was hard when we actually used the house for cooking due to a small family.
