Quiet, peaceful, small but pretty paved private garden, lovely interior very tastefully furnished and decorated. Popular pub 2 minutes walk away and many local walks on the doorstep. Fantastic.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac with footpaths from the front door leading to Dancing Ledge and the coastal cliff walks, the cottage has a spacious open living space and everything you need for a relaxing break. The friendly village pub is just a minute’s walk away and regular buses (Breezer 40) makes visiting or eating out in either Swanage or Corfe Castle also possible without a car. Very welcoming hosts and a friendly village.

the garage i judged to be too small/ tricky to park for my car but the owners who lived across the road , had a contingency of letting us park on their drive which was fine as a solution

Wonderful place. Beautifully decorated with everything you need - a proper home from home. Owners were very welcoming - providing milk, homemade Dorset apple cake, and a bottle of Prosecco for our arrival. Perfectly placed for spectacular walks along the Dorset coast. Didn't want to leave it was so relaxing.

Lovely extra homely welcoming touches milk in fridge processco and tea and coffee Dorset apple cake delicious. Clean peaceful area and lovely surroundings comfortable accommodation. Been before and keep coming back now.

Self catering. Welcome card, milk and Prosecco in fridge and a delicious Dorset Apple Cake waiting for us. Host lived across the road and also welcomed us personally.

I really liked all the facilities. Had everything we needed to cook, it was warm, WiFi was good, towels were thick and fluffy! Parking in the garage is also fine - we managed to fit a VW Tiguan in there. Lovely homemade cake on arrival too! It’s a really nice place. Well located for exploring the area.

Ideal location

Great location, spotless interior and beautifully and tastefully decorated. We were visiting during the winter and appreciated the cosy feel and warmth! Particularly liked being to step out of the door and onto one of the many footpaths. Our dog particularly liked that too

Minor niggle was the traditional single garage that won't really accommodate most modern cars these days - but really appreciated the owner allowing us to park in their drive opposite our property.
