"A fantasic retreat, peferct for a lovely quiet stay right ny the sea."

8.0

We loved the location right by the sea and how quiet it was, it was stocked with everything you needed and was very clean. A lovely home and perfect for us and will be back again.

We arrived late and the local shop didn’t have logs so it would’ve been a nice touch to have a starter pack in the basket for log burner but thats not a criticism, we could’ve brought them from Lincoln just didn’t have time.

Exactly as advertised. Ideal for our requirements with a lovely view over the bay to the sea. Everything we needed was available and the whole property was clean.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

"A tranquil, peaceful setting, but with lots to see and do within easy driving distance."

9.0

Great location in a lovely village, right by a rocky cove. Although quite remote, it was within easy driving distance of many fine attractions. We particularly enjoyed Logan Botanic Garden and walks around Galloway Forest Park from Kirroughtree Visitor Centre. The local Isle of Whithorn village community centre shop and cafe was a great place for morning coffee. There and everywhere else we visited, we found the people friendly, welcoming and cheerful.

Tiny things could be improved. The shower head that refused to point in the right direction springs to mind.

"Basic but great location"

6.0

Location looking over a small bay was beautiful, peace and quiet, scenic area, great walks.

Accommodation was getting a little tired, needs some serious updating and better quality decor would make this little home amazing. kitchen was well equipped but such a collective range of pots nothing matched properly! No milk or treats as we normally have on arrival! Kitchen tap very loose. Double bed duvet was so thin and it was unseasonably cold. You’re expected to supply your own wood and fire lighters for wood burner which is not good for the price payed.
