Tithebarn Townhouse

Everything was provided for a comfortable stay, We had milk for teas and coffees and eggs, bread, butter and cereal for breakfast in the morning. There was plenty of hot water for a welcome bath as we had been travelling in the rain with train delays all day. There were fluffy towels and plenty of bathroom essentials.

We didnt receive the welcome e mail with the entrance code unti the day after we arrived. and although we had the password for the internet we didnt have the network so had to try six different ones before we found the right one which was post office so seemed the most unlikrly

The property was well presented and had most things you would need. It was kind to leave some tea / coffee making facilities and something for breakfast

The property was freezing. The owners had programmed the heating to come on but it was never on when we were in and didn’t come on at all in the morning. Heating needs to be determined by the guests not by the owners. Some was also constantly bleeping like a battery was running out Unknown to us the cleaner had also left the windows open in the bedroom behind the blinds so we were unaware which made it even colder We were unable to shower as something was left bleaching in the bath and we could find a bathroom cleaning product besides which it was to cold

Handy location for central Poulton with supermarkets 2 mins away. Comfortable and warm. Quiet inside. Lovely that breakfast ingredients were provided.

No cafetière or coffee machine. (Sorry fussy about instant coffee but not uncommon). Parking outside not always possible and tricky pull out onto road at busy periods. You have to be careful about overstaying at supermarket car park. Ended up parking a short walk away which was ok.

Lovely townhouse in a great location. Plenty of space - clean and tidy throughout. Comfy beds

Staircase was very narrow. Also having to go up and down narrow steps to cross to the bathroom. OK so long as you don’t need the loo in the night!
