The Retreat on Risbygate

Kitchen light switch was wrong end of kitchen.

Centrally located, the house was the perfect base for a weekend in Bury St. Edmund's. The dedicated parking space was great; we could leave the car for the whole weekend.

Host very friendly. Location was excellent and we had most things we needed

One or two more things for the kitchen eg a plastic microwave dish and measuring jug

The property was fantastic had everything you needed and so close to town.

There was nothing not to like the bed was very comfy bathroom very good lovely fluffy towels.

So this is a warm,clean,comfortable place to stay in a convenient location,5 mins from the town centre.On a busy road but not noisy,with a nice little south-facing patio.Kitchen facilities are excellent and the bathroom is spacious and bright.Many condiments are provided even though the closest supermarket is only a 3 minute walk.It is also clear from reading the feedback that the host (Alice) has made alterations based on these comments no matter how trivial.A clear sign that she is keen that you enjoy your stay.I certainly did.

Very good central location. Well renovated property to give a good, comfortable space for 2 people. Car parking space nearby.

The untidy front garden didn’t match the quality of the interior.

Easy to find ,short walk to centre, car park space

Great location. Easy to walk into Bury. Waitrose 10 minutes away and local co-op just up the road. Parking although not outside the property was close. Peaceful place to stay. Well equipped.
