Charming 2 bedroom property in Bury St Edmunds

Great house! 3 spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. Only 1 upstairs bathroom, but this was fine for our family. Host was responsive to questions. 15 min walk to centre of Bury or to the Cathedral. No parking provided. I found some free parks (ie. ones that didn't say Resident Permit holders only) on Westbury Avenue and parked there for the few days we were there - only 10 minute walk away. Overall, great place to stay!

Good location for town and excellent facilities.

Windows at front of house probably need renewing/double glazing. Bit noisy at times from road.

The property was lovely and very central and comfortable . We felt we could relax there but we were too busy site seeing to spend the time in the flat that we would have liked . In our 12 days in UK this was our favorite property

The stairs are very steep . It would be good to have a bedside lamp that gave enough light for reading as te present lights do not . We had problems with the bathroom light breaking but this was fixed promptly . Parking is a real issue . we are from NZ and used to having parking outside our property rather than walking to park the car

Very nice property with nice features and comfortable beds.

Only 1 toilet a long way from downstairs bedroom.

The location is fantastic - the property itself lovely an clean.

The third bedroom is in the basement and had no curtains. The shower pressure wasn't great and there wasn't much cookware in the kitchen. The host was also very hesitant to provide me the full address before the day of check-in which meant we couldn't plan our journeys until the morning of check-in (he provided the full address about 11pm the night before after several messages back and forth).
