Charming 2 bedroom property in Bury St Edmunds

Location was excellent and the property has such potential and is furnished nicely.

When we arrived the bedding was draped over all the downstairs furniture and we had to make up beds ourselves! We arrived very late and this was so deeply disappointing as we were already exhausted from a long day's travel. The rooms were pretty chilly and there were no blankets or extra layers for the beds at all. The bathroom light didn't work either. The kitchen was pretty poorly equipped sadly too. I slept in the bedroom located in the basement and the window looked up onto the street but there were no curtains which made me feel very vulnerable and uncomfortable. The bathroom from this bedroom was also up a flight of stairs, through he dining area and up more stairs. This arrangement wasn't clear in the description. It was OK for a couple of nights. On our last morning we were rudely woken up by a lady yelling with two huge dogs in the hallway before 7.30 in the morning. She didnt know we were there and she was really rude to us which was very upsetting and she woke up my mother who had been asleep upstairs and who had been very tired. Like I say, the property is nice and has great potential, there are just a few areas of concern and having to make our own beds was pretty bad service!

Size of property, location, cleanliness.

It would be nice to have a blind in the downstairs bedroom to sleep in a bit in the morning. Also we had to share towels as there weren’t enough provided for the 6 of us.

Really easy to locate and collect key

Everything was perfect

it was a beautiful home, with everything you need included.

The floor boards are incredibly loud and you can hear everything in every room but it wasn’t too much of a problem!
