A cosy home from home. Booking was made easier through Charlie at Host and Stay who would accommodate all my questions in a short time frame. Upon arrival I briefly met the owner who was just leaving. He was there to put a Christmas tree in the living area which I thought was a lovely touch. The house had everything you needed travelling with a small family. Walkable locations to shops, bars and restaurants. The home also boasts a driveway big enough for a car and off street parking too. Great house where I will definitely book again.

"Very Comfortable Stay"

A return stay and we still rate the property highly. It's a good size and located in quiet street with easy access to shops in Marske and also to the beach which ls lovely and fantastic for a large active dog. The house is comfortable and mostly well equipped. The fact both bedrooms are en suite is big plus for a family stay. A coffee machine with pods and Yorkshire Tea bags available in the kitchen very welcome. We would stay again.

There were a couple of things we have noticed on our stays. There is a downstairs toilet, but there is no hand towel left in it and no hand towel in the kitchen either and that is not good enough. The kitchen had no salt / pepper, no kitchen paper, no washing up liquid, no brush or washing up pads and a only single bin bag. These things are usually found in the kitchens of rental properties, if only left by a previous guest, and the absence of them all felt intentional. The matrass on the double bed is a bit saggy now.

"Great base for visiting Marske and the surrounding area"

This house really lives up to its name! Great property , clean, tidy, comfortable, and well furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break here and would definitely recommend it. Great base, just a 15-minute or so walk to the beach.
