Smeraldo Holiday House

Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, Maria ist eine super Gastgeberin. Ein besonders Highlight ist der Whirlpool, der immer perfekt geheizt ist. Auch der kleine Lastenaufzug für den Gepäcktransport ist sehr nützlich. Grazie mille! Wir kommen gerne wieder 😄

Great home for our family of four - was in between Amalfi and Positano, and perfect if you have a car as parking in the street was free. The house had everything we needed and was clean and adorable. Maria assisted us in renting a boat for one day which was brought directly to us in the marina below (several steps down). We drove ourselves along the whole coast from Amalfi to Nerona, and even out to Capri to see the Blue Grotto all in a day. There are two amazing restaurants in 5-minutes walking distance (da Nino’s was cheap and so good even catering to my gluten free child). Also there’s a minimart for basic groceries. Be sure and turn on the hot tub a good amount of time before you use it—that was a highlight especially on the rainy day.

It does require the use of a car…. We tried the bus coming back from Amalfi after our boat ride and it was total chaos.

Maria la anfitriona es lo mejor, nos recibio en el lugar, nos explico todo a detalle y gracias a ella nuestras vacaciones pudieron salir conforme a lo planeado, nos ayudo a que mis papas llegaran a Amalfi sin ningun problema.

Es war einfach sehr nah an perfekt. Maria war immer für uns da falls wir Fragen hätten. Es war ein sehr schöne Zeit.

Maria er en fantastisk vert. God og rask kommunikasjon i forkant av besøket, og hyggelig personlig velkomst. Vi fikk nyttig informasjon om huset og nærområdet. Deilig frukt og drikke sto klart til oss. Vakkert hus og nydelig utsikt, velutstyrt kjøkken, to fine bad og god plass på soverommene. Bassenget var nydelig! Alt var rent og pent. Praktisk heis for bagasje, så vi slapp å bære opp og ned alle trappene. Vi fikk god hjelp og service av Maria med å ordne båttur og transport.

Det var ingen beholder i kjøleskapsdør slik at man kunne sette flasker der, alle flasker måtte ligge. Det er dessverre en del mauer ute og inne, vi måtte være ekstra renslig i forhold til mat for å minimere maur.

Wifi availability could be better

Loved the setting, with incredible views and a beautiful patio to enjoy them from. Hostess was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. House was very comfortable with all amenities. The pool/jacuzzi was a fabulous bonus. There was also a lovely barbecue area

The stairs up to the road and down to the shop took some getting used to.

The location and property was picturesque walking distance from a local supermarket and restaurants. We stayed with our two children and the pool was enjoyed. Great facilities for a family.

The view, the BBQ, the location, and the space were all exceptional. We’d definitely recommend it — a fantastic place to stay!

Everything was lovely — even the drive up to the property was part of the fun! If we were to mention one small thing, the two single beds weren’t the most comfortable at first, but once we took off the mattress toppers, they were much better. Aside from that, everything was absolutely perfect 😎
