Absolutely awful. Fire alarm beeping and told to cover with a cloth. No WiFi, dirty bed sheets. Paid for a weekend and only stayed one night . Lady refused my refund and then blocked me aswell as the booking.com team.

Nothing - it was a dreadful one hour we spent in the property before we had to vacate.

I requested a 12:00pm check-in in advance, which was approved. However, when we arrived, the property was absolutely disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned. The toilet was dirty, the bin was full, and used bed linen and towels were scattered across the floor. The entire caravan smelt strongly of body odour. It was completely unacceptable. I contacted the property immediately upon arrival but did not receive a response for 40 minutes. When someone finally called, they claimed they were unaware of our stay and said they might be able to have the property cleaned between 15:00–15:15. This is despite the official check-in time being 13:00, meaning the property should have been cleaned well before then, even without our approved early check-in. We had to leave by 14:15 to attend a nearby wedding and had planned to shower beforehand, which was impossible due to the state of the property. Given the delays and lack of confidence that it would be cleaned to an acceptable standard, we made the decision to leave. I then had to spend part of the wedding reception urgently booking expensive alternative accommodation, which caused significant stress. I am a student, yet have been left paying for two overnight stays! The owner’s response afterward was incredibly rude and dishonest. They falsely claimed they never approved the 12:00pm check-in (despite clear evidence), and incorrectly stated that check-in is 15:00 rather than 13:00. They also accused us of declining cleaners at 14:00, which is untrue, we informed them we were leaving due to the unacceptable conditions and misleading information. We were at the property for one hour, not two as claimed. They also alleged they emailed to confirm the property had been cleaned, but I received no such communication. No apology, no accountability, and no compensation has been offered. I will be escalating this further. This experience was stressful, costly, and completely unacceptable.

The location was excellent. Facilities were great, and really well equipped. It was clean. There were games for the children. The beds were comfortable too.

There was no smoke alarm. The WiFi didn’t work although password etc was provided. The sofa area was wet/damp ?
