"Nice stay close to Bury"

7.0

Great to have parking, comfy sofa and bed, just a very short stroll into town which wad really great , everything you would need in kitchen

Heating thermostat situated in the hallway, if you haven’t walked by it the heating goes off, it was very cold just before Christmas so this might not be an issue at other times, I thought curtains would be better in sitting room other than blinds this might dampen traffic noise , then maybe just reflective film on windows to give privacy in the daytime. Bathroom - Black mould on tiles / sealant - which would be rectified easily with some spray

"very comfortable and clean"

8.0

It's right by a busy road and footpath so it was quite noisy. It also would have been great to have some baking trays/roasting dishes to cook things in the oven.

"Perfect location and very cosy"

8.0

-really like the fact its on 2 floors so bedrooms are apart from the living area -proximity to the town; only 3-4 minutes walk to Waitrose, 10 minutes walk to the cathedral - very well equipped and the tea/coffee selection was a nice touch

the mattresses were much too soft

"Lovely little place on the doorstep of Bury"

8.0

We loved the fact it was a complete home from home experience as opposed to a hotel room after a day of on your feet exploring. Really cute place, done out in a beautiful way with everything you need. We packed towels and toilet roll etc but no need, everything catered for you here plus only a short walk from everything you want to see. Plus good private parking spot right next to your door. Bedding excellent quality

Main road noise outside was very loud if your not used to that and kept blinds closed most of time to make us feel cosy and not exposed. But the charm of the little bury barn made up for this, along with location and parking etc. I would suggest a draw under each bedside shelf or something tho as we ended up having a case on spare bed for pants and socks etc, and it was only the 2 of us for a weekend. Decent hanging space for everything else tho. 👌 Plus, what should be a very comfy memory foam mattress was not really suited to a sprung bed. Beautiful bed, really luxurious bedding etc but felt like you were sinking and fighting to turn over in the night.

"Lovely little stay"

9.0

The owner was very quick to answer and help when asked. Parking was close and undercover, coffee and sugar provided. Shower was powerful. Easy walk to town. Cute layout.

Not sure there was anything really other than the heating needed to be waved infront of occasionally and the local Internet was on occasion intermittent but mobiles all had good signal.

A lovely house near to all amenities. A bit of road noise but nothing my white noise couldn't drown out !

Perhaps have shower gel in the bathroom.
