Björkin – Cozy Cabin with excellent view

Just a normal cabin with some of the host's sundries.

The host is not honest!I book a non refund room, I asked the host if I could change date and send the request via the system (no extra charge), the host told me they didn't receive. And then they told me that I could cancel the reservation first and re-booking a room, he will accept this cancellation request and "won't charge". After I re-booking and stay for one night the host change the word and say because it is a non-refund policy so they are not able to refund my money. Eventually I asked for help to Booking's service team and they refund me immediately but this still ruin my perfect holiday.

Fantastic view above Akureyri. The chalet its just perfect to stay close from the city but without the noise. The chalet has everything to enjoy a quiet moment. It is very clean and the blankets were immaculately clean and white. Do not expect to have TV because even one does exist in the living room, you do no need it. Just enjoy the place.

Great location

The cabin wasn't too hard to find. I texted a bit with the owners, they were really sweet ! The location was nice and the view was outstanding. The cabin was pretty comfortable and well equipped overall, even with a washing machine. The bed were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Plenty of books if you like to read ;)

There's nothing to complain about !

This is by far a favorite place. We loved the view over the fjord and the amazing Northern Lights show. The rooms are cozy and sparkling clean, very nicely arranged. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. Next time we would like to stay longer. We highly recommand it!!! There is a small river/crick nearby. It has a romantic and relaxing side.

Very nice apartment, furnished with everything and decorated with style. Very clean. Absolutely recommended! The best location we stayed in iceland.

When we arrived I regretted booking for only one night. This is a perfect getaway for several days. Entering the house with the spacious veranda and the great view it just felt like home because it had this personal touch (little library..) Kitchen was well equipped. We made use of the washing machine, very handy after 10 days. We`ll try and visit again
