It was a very clean comfortable well appointed property. We were able togo out the door on a walk. The property is maintained to a very high standard. The host is professional and responsive. We highly recommend it is a quieter area than the upper Lakes District. A gem

"Stay at the Stables"

Lovely quiet location. Good for exploring the southern lakes and other attractions in the area. A couple of walks from the farm included in the information pack, including one down to Broughton in Furness with it's lovely square. There is a shared lawn to the back of the property with plenty of benches. Jean and Claire helped us out when we realised we had not packed some items, for which we were very grateful.

The 1/4 mile drive is a bit rough and it's wise not to rush up and down it, but select a path of least pot holes. This can be done.
