Casa do Paúl

Πολύ καλό έως άριστο διαμέρισμα στο κέντρο της πρωτεύουσας του νησιού . Η πρόσβαση σε εστιατόρια, πλαζ , σούπερ μάρκετ, συγκοινωνίες πολύ εύκολη δεν χρειάζεται περισσότερα από πέντε λεπτά . Ο εξοπλισμός του διαμερίσματος από τους καλύτερους που συνάντησα στα νησιά των Αζορών . Υπάρχει ακόμη και αφυγραντήρας που θεωρώ απαραίτητο για νησιά με τόσο ψηλή υγρασία. Ο οικοδεσπότης άψογος με βοήθησε πολύ για την ενοικίαση ενός ποδηλάτου. Συμπέρασμα : Έχω ταξιδέψει και άλλη φορά στο νησί , το διαμέρισμα αυτό είναι καλύτερο από το προηγούμενο.

Επειδή τα καταλύματα σε νησιά όπως η Graciosa δεν είναι πολλά σας συνιστώ να κάνετε κράτηση πολλούς μήνες πριν , γιατί διαφορετικά οι τιμές είναι απαγορευτικές για ένα μέσο τουρίστα .

Die Wohnung liegt am zentralen Platz und ist in einem alten, aber renovierten Haus untergebracht. Die Ausstattung ist topp! Man hat die Möglichkeit, sich in den Innenhof zu setzen. Wir hatten die Wohnung im EG. Wenn man die Wohnung betritt, kommt man ins Schlafzimmer. Dieses kann man mit einer Schiebetür zum Rest der Wohnung abtrennen/verdunkeln. Nach der Schiebetür geht es vom Gang rechts ins kleine aber feine Bad mit Dusche. Wenn man dem Gang weiter folgt, kommt man in eine Eßküche, in der auch eine Waschmaschine steht. Von hier aus kommt man in besagten Innenhof in dem auch eine Wäscheleine hängt. Parkplatz haben wir immer ohne Probleme direkt vor dem Haus bekommen. Restaurant und Café sind in Laufnähe.

We've had the loveliest time at Casa do Paul. The apartment/unit is really beautiful, roomy and well-equipped, and the garden is the cherry on top. It is located in the very heart of Santa Cruz da Graciosa, with the tourist office, some supermarkets and nice restaurants just a stone's throw away (admittedly, Graciosa is tiny, so everything is close). The owner, Joao, was there to welcome us and available on the phone during our stay, whenever we needed advice or tips. There is an upstairs unit whose terrace theoretically shares space with the garden but Joao was very clear about the sharing arrangement and our neighbours very friendly and nice to chat to.

I will die on this hill and keep putting it in all my reviews until something changes: hotels/rental owners need to realize that people bring their own shower products and put in some shelving either when designing the shower stalls, or afterwards. People need a place to put their facewash and shampoo! This should be a human right :) Also, I don't know why, but during this year's stay, all of the kitchens in the apartments we stayed had absolutely no basic groceries available (no salt or oil or anything) - was there maybe some change in the applicable laws? Because we really preferred the stocked kitchens of yesteryear :)

This a large old house that is right on the water, across from the city center square. Since there were only two of us, the other bedrooms were locked. The house was clean. The kitchen was very well stocked.

Very steep stairs from street level to living level. We left our bags in the foyer at street level and brought of smaller amount needed for the two nights we were there. Be CAREFUL when parking across the street. Two of the spots are for EV parking, but they aren't well marked. We got a 60 euro ticket for parking in a charging spot. The electric box looks like small telephone equipment box not the large EV chargers we are accustomed to.

Beautiful location right by the ocean and walking distance to several restaurants and markets. Well kept yard and home with lovely antique furniture. We were met by the owners adult son and oriented to the features of the home. The owner was very responsive. We had a little scare with a family who fell, the owner responded quickly to my late night message and was very kind.

Just something to be aware of: there is one flight of stairs into the home, but they are solid and have a hand rail on each side.

The location and the house is awesome. Very clean and comfortable.friendly and helpful host

The refrigerator was making a really big noise. For a longer stay I would have liked a little more ' base- ingredients ' in the kitchen ( some oil and pepper for instance)
