The location was great. I loved how the hot tub area was fenced off with a gated area, so the dog was safe (gate would be better if it was taller).

Just a couple of things wrong *no blind in the bathroom. We put a towel up for privacy *wasn't very clean (trays and pans still had food on) * Balcony looked unsafe the glass panels looked like they were about to fall off. *No hot water. *No dishwasher tablets. *The Internet signal was very weak.

"Disappointing"

4.0

The hot tub was really nice but some of the back rest padding were off The Lodge was really peaceful and quiet

We had to clean up outside when we got there previous people had left cigarette dumps and a mess . . The boiler needed topped up every morning. The lodge was nice, but it needs a few things fixed It was an OK stay but not worth £200 a night. The owner was really nice when I reported things and apologised.

"Great spot for exploring the Northumberland region!"

9.0

Lovely, friendly family lodge. Nice, quiet and very peaceful. Clean and well-equipped. The location in holiday home park, amidst the countryside, is ideal to explore the region (Alnwick Castle, Druridge Bay, etc.) or to take advantage of facilities on-site (e.g. golf course, children adventure playground, woodland walks). Suitable for a targeted group of holiday makers, though. The wee private patio with dining area much better suited for a family meal than a breakfast bar inside. Outdoor bath tub and a shower being (assumingly) both nice additional features. Friendly reminder: - The location shown in booking.com app is incorrect. Don't follow it or you'll find yourself in the woods in the middle of nowhere. Stick to the instructions provided by the host. While travelling by car from A1, follow the Leamington Ln. in Swarland, pass the junction with The Avenue road and go further, slightly uphill, to find the entrance to the Percy Wood Park to the left. Then look for 'internal' street names and numbers ('14 Leaf Lane' for this specific lodge if remembered correctly).

None, except for: - Terrace windowed doors need some adjustment as it is really hard to close them back. - We weren't able to figure out why there was no hot water in the morning (the evening before everything worked fine). Boiler was showing some low water pressure error (?), but the cold water pressure seemed to be more than adequate.

"Great for Dog walkers"

7.0

Great location for dogs loads of walks direct from the lodge. Access to the woods for various parts of the site so great variety Hot tub checked in a morning which was reassuring in terms of it being well maintained. Good communication with staff very quick to reply and ensure all was ok The enclosed patio area is a lovely sun trap and you forget your on a busy site as its so private.

Tv kept turning off every 20 to 30 mins which was annoying during the evenings when we were at the lodge.
