Amazingly beautiful remote location. The prettiest place we stayed in Iceland, and that is saying a lot. The lodging is a cute a-frame with room for a big family to sleep and full kitchen facilities. Gorgeous Icelandic horses roaming nearby!

The reservation said "bed and breakfast," but no breakfast was provided.

The place was nice and big on a peaceful and charming location. After traveling in Iceland for a week and always doing the self check in we were really happy to meet our hostess. She was very kind in answering all our questions about Iceland and she also showed us their horses when we asked so that was really nice.

Location is quite okay

As stated in other reviews the place is outdated (bathroom definitely needs a makeover) and the upstairs is very uncomfortable to reach with luggage. The downstairs bedroom is cramped with really no place to leave your stuff (the closets are locked) - but what literally chased us away (and hence made us write this review) is that the place wasn’t tidy. After 2 nights we all had bites from bedbugs. We packed and left!

The price was higher and didnt match to quality of accommodation. Very simple accommodation. equipment quite outdated. No dishwasher, no light curtains. Terrible bathroom, broken glass behind the curtain. very dangerous.

Host is very responsive and helpful, the hair dryer wasn’t working but I contacted the host and she was with another hair dryer right away!
