Spacious, comfortable, and private with terrific views. It was like staying at the cabin of the Icelandic grandparents you didn't know you had- just a wonderfully homey feeling.

a little off the beaten path

Amazing view, cosy place to stay, nice hot tub outside, comfortable beds - just a wonderful place. I wished to stay there for way longer!

it was very windy during the night time so I woke up thinking we left windows open because of that unusual noise. Well it was closed, just had to remind myself it's a wooden house.

really huge and clean. well equipped kitchen with dryer and washing machine. hot tubs were great too and the bed was comfortable. the owner is really friendly too and help us with the hot tub set up even at 10 pm. really great service and highly recommend

Decent property equipped with the essentials for an overnight stay. The host were helpful in preparing the hot tub prior to our arrival. The selection of TV channels were one of the best I had in Iceland (most major TV channels from Nordics, Continental Europe as well as Chinese TV channels) Great view of the farm located below us and the surrounding area. Like the posters on introducing the different sheep / cows and map of Iceland along the corridor which was a nice touch.

The bathroom needs an upgrade because the pipes at the shower seems to be rusted (but functional), the pressure was quite low and poor drainage. The microwave is located above the refrigerator which can be a safety hazard for people / guest who are vertically challenged because they might have some trouble reaching for it. Otherwise, all good.

Cozy, huge cottage with hot pot and 3 bedrooms (for 6 person). Attractive price for our one night stay.
