Erpsstadir Cottage

- Very spacious appartement - Great view - Hot tub - Cheese shop in the farm nearby - Fully equipped kitchen - Reasonable price - Great communication with host - I guess it was the best accomodation where we stopped in Iceland

Everything was great, except wi-fi connection

The cottage is located in a very quite area, it’s very spacious and well equipped. You can relax in the hot tube with very nice view, it’s great after a long way and before the next intensive day. We stayed there for one night, before our trip to Western Fiords. It was a great stop!

There was nothing

Large, well equipped and comfortable property with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, best enjoyed from the hot tub. Good communication with the owner with instructions on access.

Looks like some renovation work is ongoing so the property looks a bit unfinished on one side.

Great host, they also run a diary farm, got to visit it, perfect with kids. The hot tub was also warm when we arrived, great way to relax after the drive.

some kitchen equipment could be improved, like better pans and sharper knives. Other than that, everything was there to cook some family dinner.

Superb location with grand views. House with all comforts and 3 bedrooms, hot tub. The best night in Iceland so far.

Tap water with sulphur smell. Farm shop has short working hours, you must come before 17:00 to shop there.

The views are amazing!! The cottage is very big and the hot tub was so nice to soak in after a long day with again such a pretty view! Being on the family farm is a cool and unique experience and the owners were so very nice. I appreciated that they opened the store up for us to get ice cream, cheese and other goodies. It was all amazing! We even got to see their cattle in the barn. Such a great place! I would highly recommend and it is a great value in Iceland - one of my favorite places we stayed! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Such a cozy cabin. Kitchen very well stocked - had everything we needed. Felt pampered by the most comfortable beds! Owner opened up the store for us to get ice cream after dinner - so accommodating! Would love to stay again someday!
